The changing seasons will always inspire some sort of creativity in me. Fall is no exception! My most recent fall bucket list item required a great deal of creativity and a trip to Michaels. We are a racehorse family through and through. It is how my husband and I met and how we put food on our family table. So naturally, instead of spooky faces, we decided to do something a little different this year. We painted our pumpkins as racehorses (Facebook post inspired). Spoiler alert, although a lot of fun was had, they did not end up quite like the mentioned Facebook post. That is what gives them personality though. I even sent a picture to my mother-in-law, to which her response was… “that is one original racehorse.”
As I spread out my towels, painting and crafting supplies I was reminded of just how hot- hot glue really is and how much I love these moments with my family. Here’s to checking another one off the list and another memory made!
